Terminal Days

have you ever stopped and asked yourself what you would do if you got the news from a Doctor that you only had limited time to live ...i made a list of question that i think one should ask themselves if they ever got the BAD news ...
  • What if you were to die tomorrow? What would you wish you could do before you die?
  • What would you do if you had unlimited time, money and resources?
  • What have you always wanted to do but have not done yet?
  • Any countries, places or locations you want to visit?
  • What are your biggest goals and dreams?
  • What do you want to see in person?
  • What achievements do you want to have?
  • What experiences do you want to have / feel?
  • Are there any special moments you want to witness?
  • What activities or skills do you want to learn or try out?
  • What are the most important things you can ever do?
  • What would you like to say/do together with other people? People you love? Family? Friends?
  • Are there any specific people you want to meet in person?
  • What do you want to achieve in the different areas: Social, Love, Family, Career, Finance, Health (Your weight, Fitness level), Spiritual?
  • What do you need to do to lead a life of the greatest meaning?                                                                                                                                                                                                                               thanks for reading

Entitlement

hello i just thought i would touch on a subject that seems to be the NEW norm in this country and that is "Entitlement" .i have 3 kids and let me tell you as much as i  love them ...they drive me insane.
i set forth simple general rules for the household ( be respectful, do as you are asked ) that sort of stuff ...but as hard as i work to teach them that nothing grows on trees and  you actually have to "work" for what you want in life ...they have friends that basically get things handed to them like its a God given human right ...kids and even some adults now a days expect to get something for nothing as if it is a "right" ...i was taught that there are 2 certainties in life "death and taxes". and honestly i think that we have done this to our kids ...we might not have liked the way we were raised so when we finally had kids of our own, instead of following in the ways we were taught we chose to go soft and "give " our kids everything without teaching them the value of those things...i myself never got anything handed to me and i am very great full for that fact because it made me a stronger, more respectful and understanding  person...let me know what you think in the comments...
